A cognitive simulation framework for building design
cogARCH models wayfinding as a process shaped by perception and incomplete knowledge. It combines cognitive agents with a three-dimensional navigation space generated from building models. Preliminary simulations compare three architectural variations of a multilevel education building. Cognitive agents respond to design changes more strongly than shortest-path agents, showing how different modelling assumptions affect design evaluation.
