What digital parenting interventions can demonstrate

Digital parenting tools are promising, but their evidence base needs careful interpretation. This scoping review identifies 13 eligible studies in low- and middle-income countries. Parent-level outcomes show more consistent positive findings than direct assessments of child development. The review highlights small studies, varied designs, and implementation barriers, calling for rigorous evaluation before programmes expand.

Flowchart showing database and other records, duplicate removal, screening, eligibility assessment, and 13 included studies.

The review selection process narrowed the screened literature to 13 included studies.
